The 2016 Tourist Season here on beautiful Cape Breton Island is nearly upon us, although, since we are open year-round, I suppose I should say the “busy season”. I have been remiss at keeping this blog up-to-date. Writing is one of things I enjoy doing but with everything else going on it always seems to get put off. Generally, it’s the end of the day when I’m ready to sit down and by then I’m usually too tired to concentrate. Today is a blustery, miserable day and is a good day to stay inside. So, between loads of laundry, I think perhaps today is a good day to compose a blog.
I think I shall re-enter the world of blogging simply. Ease my way back into the process. Start slow. Cheat a bit.
I think “2015 – A Year Pictures” is a good place to start.
So here’s some stuff you might have missed and some things you may have had the opportunity to experience. So sit back, and enjoy Kempt Head, Cape Breton and the Bras d’Or Lake as seen through the lens of my camera.
The 2015 Season was filled with laughter, new friendships, an abundance of wine (I may have to reassess MY wine intake for 2016…) and a few challenges. So thank you. Thank you all for a wonderful 2015. I’m looking forward to doing it all (well most of it!) all over again this year.
