After the glorious summer September is being less than kind to us. I swear we’ve had more rain days than sun. Good for the wells but bad for my work plan.
We’ve been enjoying a surprise visit from one of “our” Ontario kids.
He arrived in the dark with a van-load of musical instruments and has made himself right at home. I’ve been enjoying the sounds of live music floating through the house. He has even provided a testimonial of sorts: “<our> B&B is better than sleeping in the van!”
We also had two WWOOFer’s arrive on Wednesday evening and another slated to arrive tomorrow. I sure hope this weather clears soon … it’s going to be hard to keep everyone busy otherwise.
On September 21 we celebrated our third year as property owners in Cape Breton. Dave arrived home with a bottle of our favourite Port so we celebrated in style. We’ll tackle the bottle again in October as we celebrate our official arrival on the island.
I have a few “housekeeping” notes. The comments section for the blog does not appear to be functioning properly so I am working on that. Please do not reply to the e-mail as I am not sure where exactly into cyberspace your reply goes. I’m also working on the way the content of the blog is laid out. Please bear with me while I balance on this learning curve.
