I started working on this blog on April 23. I had a serious case of writers block. I decided that I would just post pictures. That didn’t happen.
So this evening, on this last day of April, I am trying again.
I still think we’ll just go with the pictures!
April 12 – We’re finally getting a proper fence for the horse pasture. This is our WWOOFer Kana (from Japan) learning how to build a fence.
April 15 – Aspy Bay in Northern Cape Breton. Kana and Terri toured the Cabot Trail.
April 15 – and there is still snow on North Mountain.
April 16 – exploring the eastern side of the island. View from the Louisbourg Lighthouse Trail
April 24 – Terri finally gets a decent eagle picture! Thanks for posing.
April 26 – Halifax harbour. View from our “weekend getaway” hotel room.
April 28 – every town likes to have their claim to fame. This is Stewiacke’s.
I’m sure you know that Cmdr. Chris Hadfield is circling earth in the International Space Station and he has been tweeting and Facebooking pictures of earth. I’m a huge fan. Actually, I have camera lens envy. Anyway …. instead of leaving you with a sunset, I am going to leave you with this:
April 23 – International Space Station – as it passes over Kempt Head. Do you think he saw me waving?
Until next time,
